Civil Servants - In the United States civil servants work for city, county, state, and federal government departments. Civil servants receive employment and advancement by merit. Civil servants are sworn not to profit from their civil service employment. They may not strike. In return civil servants receive job security and benefits. hypothesis comes from Greek. It means to observe something in nature, actually existing stuff. In scientific method the observer first supposes something exists because of her observations. This supposed idea becomes a hypothesis to test. Findings from testing either prove or disprove the validity of a hypothesis. Eventually a statistical summry of these findings shows the probability of the findings leading from the hypothesis as a mean, medium, or mode, the averages.

For example, during any one week of the year, Eddie knew he received at least one telephone call from somewhere in the United States, except Orange County, California
Hypothesis: If Orange County's grieving families use the Internet for help finding professional biohazard cleanup companies after a violent or unattended death, they use the Internet to find help.
